Well, in Detroit, we have a state appointed financial manager, who is taking care of our school district's money, or lack of. He has announced that about 23 schools will be closed. Fortunately, not my school. However, another school will be merged with ours, because we have enough room to accommodate about 700 students. Now, if that school has a school librarian, and he or she has more seniority, then I will have to be placed elsewhere, or laid-off.
